Meet Liv
Hi, I'm Liv, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and I believe that every person has the capacity to heal, grow, and create meaningful change in their life.
My role as a therapist is not to tell you who you are or what you should do, but to help you better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and compassion.
I primarily work with adolescents and young adults, though I welcome clients of all ages when it feels like the therapeutic relationship is a good fit for both of us. I have experience supporting individuals through trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, panic, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, LGBTQIA+ concerns, faith transitions, and other life challenges.
I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, and I strive to create a space where you feel safe, accepted, and genuinely heard. Together, we'll work at your pace, honoring your unique experiences while building the tools and insight needed to move toward the life you want to live.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual. I draw from several evidence-based modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness-based practices, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), integrating these approaches to meet your unique needs and goals.
Wherever you are in your journey, you don't have to navigate it alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you.
