Erica Gebbia
I’m not your smile-and-nod kind of therapist. Raised in Philly and fueled by
endurance sports, I bring grit, curiosity, and deep respect for everything you share with
me. Healing can be messy, weird, and sometimes even funny.
I graduated from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania with degrees in Environmental
Science and Research Anthropology. Before going back to grad school, I worked with
people facing food and housing insecurity, substance use, deep grief, and systemic
barriers for several years. Those experiences taught me that healing isn’t linear.
My approach blends trauma-informed care with somatic work, because sometimes the
body holds things the mind can’t explain. Whether you’re working through anxiety,
burnout, trauma, or just trying to feel like yourself again, therapy with me is real talk,
zero judgment, and the occasional deep sigh of relief.
As an endurance athlete, I know what it means to keep going when it’s hard. I’ll bring
that same grit and patience to our journey. If you’re ready to dive into the messy,
beautiful work of healing and want a therapist who’s real, down-to-earth, and maybe a
little funny, I’m your gal.
